Die Muttis schreiben...
Dark Dawn In Vegas

Dark Dawn In Vegas
(Lyrics and music: Charles S. Ocvirk)
It was Dark Dawn in Vegas when she closed the door
It was dark dawn in Vegas, left me beggin for more
She’s a devil in Angel’s disguise
And her body can make dead men rise
Didn´t you ever listen to what your mama said
Didn´t she say things like this can only go bad
Hold my hand baby as if nothing is wrong
Take my body baby, let me feel I´m the one!
Hold my hand baby, now nothing is wrong
Take my body baby, now I know I´m the one!
It was Dark Dawn in Vegas when she opened the door
It was Dark Dawn in Vegas, she came begging for more
She didn´t listen to what her mama said
And she knows things like this don´t always go bad
Good News For The Blues

Good News For The Blues
(Lyrics: Hannes Hiller - Music: Hannes Hiller / Charles S. Ocvirk)
Good news for the Blues, coz we're back on the track
Good news for the Blues, coz we're leaving this shack
I wanna tell you pretty baby, we ain’t never comin back!
Good news for the Blues, coz we're right on time
Good news for the Blues, we’re looking bad and feeling fine
Good news for the Blues, I see you somewhere down the line
Good news for the Blues, we ain’t fooling around
Good news for the Blues, we’re never gonna back down
Good news for the Blues, we come to play in your town!
The Blues: So you came to take care of me boys?
Blues Mothers: Yeah, you look a little tired lately, and sometimes you even sound a bit weak!
The Blues: Well, we ain’t gettin’ younger you know...but you guys sound great,
so why don’t you play it...?
Good News for the Blues, coz we're back on the track
Good News for the Blues, coz we're leaving this shack
I wanna tell you pretty baby, we ain’t never comin back!
Good News for the Blues – Good news good news!
Good News for the Blues – Good news good news!
Good News for the Blues – Good news good news!
Good News for the Blues – Good news good news!
Good News Good News.... Good News for the Blues!
The Blues: Good show...thank you boys!
Singin' The Blues

Singin' The Blues
(Lyrics and music: Charles Ocvirk)
I’m not from Chicago, not even from New York
I never saw Seattle or Kansas City at all
I’m not a heavy drinker and I’ve never been in jail
But that can’t keep me from Singin’ The Blues
I never killed a man, not in Mississippi
Not even in Berlin, not in New Ulm City
I’m a happy guy, my daddy’s not a gambler
But that can’t keep me from Singin’ The Blues
But that can’t keep me from Singin’ The Blues
I don’t smoke bad tobacco, don’t sleep under a bridge
I’m not in love with Mean Sadie, I love my well-filled fridge
I’m a happy guy, my mama didn’t leave us
But that can’t keep me from Singin’ The Blues
But that can’t keep me from Singin’ The Blues
But that can’t keep me from Singin’ The Blues
Red Hot Sun
Yippieh-ya-hey...
Text
Red Hot Sun
(Lyrics and music: Hannes Hiller)
I'm gonna lay down in the Red Hot Sun,
I'm gonna lay down in the Red Hot Sun,
Ain't no need to hurry
There ain't no need to worry
I'm gonna lay down in the Red Hot Sun
I'm gonna sip my wine and sit out in the shade
I'm gonna sip my wine and sit out in the shade
I wanna think about you baby, and how we've got it made
I'm gonna sip my wine and sit out in the shade
Oh, that picking makes me satisfied
And singing makes me groove
Underneath a Southern sky
Your guitar makes me move
I’m just a working man, always on the run
I’m gonna tell you what I do when my day is done:
I'm gonna lay down in the Red Hot Sun,
I'm gonna lay down in the Red Hot Sun,
Ain't no need to hurry
There ain't no need to worry
I'm gonna lay down in the Red Hot Sun
We Play Music

We Play Music
(Lyrics: Hannes Hiller - Music: Hannes Hiller / Charles S. Ocvirk)
I wanna tell you bout our living, ‘bout the things we're doing best
‘bout the pride we take to play all night, we ain't never gettin’ no rest
You know we're the ones who boogie, and we're the ones who rock
We're the Bluesmothers Band and we're layin it down, let the music never stop
When the groove is gettin' funky and the beat is getting strong
We play music baby - all night long!
We play this little Honky Tonk on the other side of town
The joint is packed, we hit the stage, I take one look around
I see this little queenie, she’s giving me the eye
But damn I gotta sing and play all night so she’s leaving with another guy
But I don’t get discouraged, I just play another song
We play music baby - all night long!
We play music, with all our heart and soul
We play music, that never will grow old
We take pride, play every night
You know we love to do it, and we love to do it right!
We play music baby, all night long
We play music baby, all night long
We play music, with all our heart and soul
We play music, that never will grow old
We take pride, play every night
You know we love to do it, and we love to do it right!
We play music baby, all night long
We play music baby, all night long
We rock and roll and boogie, baby, all night long
We play music baby, all night long
We play music baby, all night long
